Mustang Driver, 72, Dies At Hospital After Crashing Into Virginia Guardrail: Police

A 72-year-old Woodbridge man who was hospitalized after crashing into a Manassas guardrail earlier this month has died from his injuries, authorities announced on Tuesday.

The Prince William County Police Department identified Christopher Cary Soto as the driver involved in a single-vehicle crash that ended with his 1999 Ford Mustang on top of a guardrail and him in the hospital.

Police say that shortly before 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, officers were called to the area of Prince William Parkway and Clover Hill Road in Manassas, when Soto suffered a medical emergency, his vehicle left the roadway, went up an embankment, and onto the guardrail.

Soto was rushed to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries on Wednesday, Oct. 16, according to the department.
